Travel mentor working with young man

We're pleased to introduce Mallory Apel

Occupational Therapist

Mallory brings steady leadership and unbridled enthusiasm to her mentoring role. She is excited to share her travel insights and clinical know-how with new travelers.

“I received my Masters in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. I have been an OT for 5 years and worked in Home health, SNF, outpatient adults and pediatrics and inpatient acute. I chose to be an OT because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. I love being a mentor for the last 4 years and helping new grads navigate."

Mallory's favorite thing about traveling is making new friends all over the country and seeing new places. She believes that OT is a small world and travel OT is even smaller.

"It’s been crazy meeting people on one side of the country and then end up seeing them again on the other side. I love travel OTs! “
