Certified Respiratory Therapist - (CRT)
SHIFT: 1 traveler for 12 hour days and 1 traveler for 12 hour nights
3 years experience, ACLS, BLS, Preferred RRT.
General Certifications(ACLS,BLS/BCLS,NRP); Respiratory Certifications(RRT). MUST HAVE ACTIVE TEXAS LICENSE IN HAND.
I. Position Summary: Functions as a direct patient care giver under the supervision of a Supervisor or assigned Team Leader
A. Licensure: Holds a current Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). Assignment to Critical Care areas requires completion of critical care preceptorship. Assignment to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit requires completion of NICU preceptorship. B. Credentials: Holds a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). C. Certifications: 1. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire or transfer to department. 2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association upon hire or transfer to department. ? Neonate Resuscitation Program (NRP) through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire or transfer to department. ? STABLE Completion within 6 months of hire or transfer to department. ? Neonatal Pediatric Specialty credentials within 18 months of hire.
