Speech & Language Pathologist - Skilled - (SLP)

Acute hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic speech therapist to join the team. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Required Qualifications

At least 1 year experience as Speech Pathologist working in Inpatient or Outpatient setting. Must already have their CCC prior to being submitted for this position. No new graduates please. Current license as Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Wyoming prior to start of assignment. BLS is required through American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of experience is preferred.

For over 50 years, patients in Gillette, Wyoming and the surrounding area have had full confidence and trust in the medical procedures and treatments the physicians and nurses provide at this community and area trauma hospital. This healthcare system consists of a 90-bed acute care hospital, a 150-bed long-term care facility, and several specialty clinics. Accredited by DNV and Carf, this hospital features the latest technology including intensity modulated radiation therapy, 3 Tesla MRI, 64-slice CT scanner with cardiac scanning capabilities, and digital mammography. There is a 24-hour employee daycare center onsite for the benefit of its valued staff.

Facility Location

Gillette is known as the "Energy Capital of the Nation" as there is a lot of coal, oil and methane gas that is found in this area of Wyoming. There are 10 daily flights that go from Gillette to hubs in Billings, Salt Lake City and Denver for those who like fine cuisine dining and retail shopping. One July 4th at the softball complex in Gillette there was a fun Mud Volleyball game and lots of nice food and drink for everyone afterwards.
