Job Description & Requirements

Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist

2+ years of experience. Must be able to work ALONE! Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Lab Science is required. Current MT, MLT, or MLS (ASCP) required. Credentialing through the Proficiency Examination administered under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (formerly Health, Education, and Welfare), molecular lab experience, Experience - 2+ years, Must have experience testing on Roche instruments (4800 or 6800), Must have RNA extraction experience (manual or automated). Under general supervision, performs the tests ordered in the specific laboratory section(s) as assigned. Sections include chemistry, hematology, transfusion service, molecular, and microbiology. Access to coordinator or other professional personnel is required. May assist CLA's and other technical team. Other duties assigned.
