Physical Therapist - Acute - (PT - Acute)

SHIFT: 7am to 5pm

Required Qualifications

Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Patient-centered approach to patient care, good communication skills, team-work attitude, takes constructive feedback well candidates with these skills will be considered first. Inpatient rehab experience. Competency/experience with neuro diagnoses. Evaluations, progress notes, carrying out POC. Direct support staff and report in weekly team conference meetings. Outgoing, team player. Flexibility is key! Scrub Color - hunter green scrubs. No visible tattoos (can be covered with a bandage or tubigrip) Our therapists work 4, 10 hour days/week on a rotating schedule that does include weekends. This position covers both our acute care floor as well as our inpatient rehab. We are opening an ED on 4/16/18 and anticipate an increased census on our acute floor as a result, but currently have a high volume of elective ortho procedures. We utilize the Biodex unweighing system for gait training and pre-gait activities with our rehab patients.
