Job Description & Requirements

Registered Vascular Sonographer

START DATE: 1/28/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: 8-10 hour shifts mostly weekends Fri-Mon. Guaranteed 36 hours weekly. Call Requirements: Evening and weekend call required. REQUIRED SKILLS: RDCS or RCS + RVT or RVS. 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. At least 2 years of experience in an acute care facility preferred. Prefer previous experience with EPIC EMR. Highly prefer candidates with prior transcranial Doppler (TCD) experience. Prefer candidates with 2 years of experience performing complete, detailed arterial duplex examinations and previous experience working with vascular surgeons may be beneficial. Candidate should be familiar with ankle-brachial index and segmental pressure examinations. Experience with Parks Flo-Lab is a plus. Typical Procedures Performed: Echocardiogram to include exercise and dobutamine stress testing, TEE, arterial physiologic testing single and multiple level with and without exercise, arterial duplex examination of the upper and lower extremities and transcranial Dopplers. Equipment Type: GE Vivid E9, Philips iE33, Parks Flo-Lab 2000xe. Other Helpful or Misc. Information: We are really looking for someone who has a flexible schedule and works well with others or independently. Previous experience with Epic and Merge is a plus. We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude that fits in well with our culture.
