Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)

SHIFT: TRAVELER #1: DAYS: 40 hours pre week. Weekday shifts are usually 10 hours and weekend shifts are usually 5 hours scheduled work with 7 hours of call. Our staff work every 2/10 weekends, with one weekend day being a Saturday and the next weekend day being a Sunday. Our only call is on the weekend shifts at this time. Required Qualifications

Types of procedures required. Generalists: Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology: Phlebotomy, Urinalysis, Coag, Immunochemistry. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Olympus AU480, Vitros ECiQ, Ortho Gel, Microscan 4, CA660, Sysmex XT-2000i, Sysmex XS-1000, Must be able to work independently as a MT/MLT in above areas. BS in Medical Technology or equivalent, Associates in MLT or equivalent, ASCP certified or eligible. Dress Code: Closed heeled, closed toed shoes; lab coat (provided). Two week training period **PLEASE NOTE****- all travelers will come in on that Monday for an on site drug screen and start Hospital Orientation on that Wednesday
