TravCon 2021 – How to Maximize Your Time

It’s official—TravCon 2021 is just a week away! For all Travel Healthcare Professionals, TravCon is an event designed to bring the community together, share knowledge, and inspire the future of travel healthcare. From Saturday 9/25-Wednesday 9/29, Las Vegas will become a hub for travelers new and old, offering interactive sessions, fun activities, and a space for all to explore the exciting developments in the industry this year. With so much to do, how can you possibly get the most out of your experience? We’ve got you covered—we outlined some of the main attractions from the conference, so you know where to go and what to see once you touch down in Sin City.

Educate Yourself by Attending Sessions

Each year, TravCon features speakers from the industry to conduct sessions on everything healthcare travel for attendees to join. This year, the conference will feature over 40 experts across 6 stages to educate Travel Healthcare Professionals on a broad array of relevant topics. Whether you want to refresh your knowledge of your profession or explore something new, these sessions have something just for you.

Check out the sessions to start building your schedule!

Gain Contact Hours for Continuing Education Certifications

An additional benefit of attending sessions and learning more about the industry is your ability to claim contact hours toward your continuing education certifications. As long as you scan your badge at the beginning of each day and attend a course or the conference in full, you can claim those hours right on the TravCon website.

Explore the New Traveler Marketplace

New this year, TravCon has opened a Traveler Marketplace for entrepreneurs to share their passions with fellow travelers. Housed in the exhibitor hall, this marketplace will feature booths from traveler-owned businesses, showcasing new products, blogs, podcasts, boutiques, coaching, books, and much more for you to dive into.

Visit the TravCon website to learn more about the Traveler Marketplace or apply for your own space.

Get Involved with One or More of the TravCon Events

Throughout the week, TravCon has some amazing events scheduled for attendees to get active, get to know each other, and have fun while in Vegas. Before the actual conference begins (Saturday, 9/25), there will be an optional TravCon Golf Tournament at Desert Pines Golf Club, for you golf fanatics and those of you who just want to soak up the summer weather. Other events you can check out include hikes, morning yoga sessions, breakfast and lunch, an interactive resume center, and much more. Not to mention, the LEGENDARY afterparty, hosted at Drai’s Nightclub on Tuesday, 9/28.

Explore all the events, so you don’t miss out on anything!

See the Vegas Strip

Of course, aside from the conference, you will be in Las Vegas. If you find yourself with some free time between sessions or before you depart, you can get out and explore the bright lights and mystique that is the strip. We won’t tell you how to live your Vegas experience outside of TravCon, but you will have direct access to the city’s infinite resorts and casinos, restaurants, retail stores, and live shows that encompass its epic reputation.

If you need some inspiration for your extracurricular itinerary, check out Visit Las Vegas to see what the city has going on while you’re here.

We hope these suggestions help you to truly maximize your experience while attending this year’s TravCon conference. But don’t take it from us—make sure to fully explore the TravCon website to see everything there is to take in. TravCon places the possibilities at your fingertips, but it’s up to you to make the experience your own!
